Sin — Weakness — Wound

As we help counselees identify areas of sin, weakness and wounding, then we are able to help them discover the corresponding need. We also come to understand the unique ways all three categories overlap at times, in relationship to the particular personality of the person, their upbringing and environmental influences, and especially the ways they’ve been hurt or harmed. I first heard these themes expounded on by Zach Eswine, but you’ll find a number of similar resources by simply researching this concept.
